Ever since I was a child, I always looked at vacant plots or old properties in shambles. I could see an elegant villa or a multistoried apartment or an elegant office building on those sites. As I was old enough to follow my dreams, I started building my dreams. In the last decades of previous century, apartments became the first choice for home for most of the people, as apartments provide security. The concept of community living could be revived with multistoried culture. First building " Ratan Deep Apartment I" was completed in 1989 under the banner of Ratan Apartment Pvt. Ltd. It was a three bedroom apartment project which had fifteen flats and was completely sold out before completion. Our other projects under this banner were Ratan Deep Apartment II, Ratan Deep Apartment III, Ratan Kuti, Ratan Kunj, Punch Ratan.

Between 1989-1990, I met many aspirants for home and office that helped me to incorporate their dreams into my vision. We took over management of Shilpi Builders Ltd. from January 1990. First project completed by this company was Prem Ratan Vatika which had 86 flats in total.

Under the banner of Shilpi Builders Ltd., we have constructed Prem Ratan Vatika, Ratan Dham, Ratan Castle, Ratan Lok, Ratan Ashish, Ratan Niketan, Shiv Ratan Estate, Ratan Esquire, Ratan Jyoti, Ratan Istuti, Ratan Green, Ratan Floor and Ratan Villa.

In 1997 company expanded its construction activities to Dwarka, New Delhi. Most of its apartments were deluxe flats with amenities like Club, Swimming Pool, Jogging Track and beautiful landscapes.

Till now the company has built of more than 2.5 million sq. feet constructed area. We have had privilege of providing homes to more than 2000 families and work place to professionals and enterpreneurs.

In 2004 Ratan Housing Development Limited, an ISO 9001-2000 company came into existence and in last three years company has extended its activities to Lucknow, Pune, Navi Mumbai and Goa. Residential and commercial projects are under construction in all these cities as well as near completion in Kanpur. Some of our buildings are : Ratan Presidency, Ratan Residency, Ratan Tarang, Ratan shanti, Ratan Majestic, Ratan Orchid.

The company has experience of building and running fully equipped hospital and diagnostic centre.

Our company has taken responsibility of developing planned townships in Kanpur.
